Any person who is in good health, and emotionally sound who is looking to be rid of pockets of fat or loose skin is a good candidate for Abdominoplasty. Women who are planning to become pregnant should delay this procedure though, as weight gain and loss will diminish the effect of this procedure.

This procedure will take about 2 to 5 hours and require general anesthesia. This procedure requires two incisions, one along the base of the waist and another around the navel. A patient will need from two weeks to a few months to recover.
